Today’s market has unlimited selection of webcams from your everyday use to high-tech cams. They can range anywhere from to 0 or even more sometimes. There are webcam in market with Bluetooth wireless technology with built in microphone, live messenger button, digital zoom, panning and led lights which gives better light to your video, now they even come with face tracking technology that allows user to move around and never worry about losing your face out of the frame and on top of that they have built in video effects like making it black and white or add frames to your video while it is streaming and you can change your live video to magenta or yellow color if you want, the possibilities are endless.

So here are some tips for you before you buy your next webcam.
One should always keep in mind about the price range and the kind of use of the webcam. Resolution, Optic Lens, Digital Zoom etc. Keep in mind the most important thing what kind specification your PC has and check if your PC meets the specification required by the new webcam, like minimum Ram, Processor speed, USB port etc.

The minimum requirement for most webcams in my view would be (if you don’t want any problems like slowing down of video and image freeze etc.) would be minimum of 128-256 or more MB of Ram, 350-700 MHz or faster processor speed, web cam resolution with 640x480 and minimum of 30 fps speed. USB1.1 speed (USB 2.0 which has data transfer 12bits/sec compared to USB 1.1 but USB1.1 cam can work in USB 2.0 but newer USB 2.0 webcams will not work in USB 1.1 socket)
